Ice Cream Ingredients: Milk, Cream, Sugar, Nonfat Milk, Corn Syrup, Whey, Contains Less Than 2% Of: Cocoa (Processed With Alkali), Natural Flavor, Artificial Flavor, Vanillin (An Artificial Flavor), Mono- and Diglycerides, Guar Gum, Locust Bean Gum, Polysorbate 80, Carrageenan, Citric Acid, Annatto (Color), Color (Red 40, Blue 1).

Wafer Ingredients: Wheat Flour, Sugar, Caramel Color, Dextrose, Palm Oil, Contains Less Than 2% Of: Corn Flour, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Modified Corn Starch, Alkalized Cocoa, Salt, Corn Syrup, Baking Soda, Mono- And Diglycerides, Soy Lecithin.

Allergens: Contains milk, soy, wheat. Produced in a facility that also produces peanuts, milk, soy, wheat, gluten, egg, & tree nut ingredients.

Directions: Ready to eat. No re-hydration necessary. Inside pouch, product paper is slit to facilitate the freeze-drying process. Your ice cream may be a little bit broken. That’s okay! Breakage naturally occurs during the freeze-drying process and does not negatively impact the product.

It’s good, but not the treat from my youth

The sandwiches are good, and the quality is excellent. Just wish you could get the ice cream without the chocolate cookie top and bottom. Not sure why the world got rid of it here true classic astronaut ice cream

Fun for Space Camp

This was a fun treat for our kids who attended our summer space camp. We talked about astronauts, showed some videos from the space station and then treated them to some astronaut food. This was a favorite flavor!

The sandwich cookies ruin it

Used to come as just the ice cream. Would melt in your mouth. Now, two dense chocolate cookies prevent this experience. Barely get to taste the ice cream. Bring back the old ones. The ice cream sandwich versions are terrible.

First Grade Sensory Writing

I’ve been buying Astronaut Ice Cream for years at the Science Museum by my school% I’m a first grade teacher and teach about the moon, stars, sun, and astronauts. I love to surprise the kids with Astronaut Ice Cream. They do a descriptive writing about it. It’s always fun to see their faces when I unwrap it and pass it out. They have fun figuring out ice cream turned out that way and love to eat it. Always a winner lesson every year.
